Criteria for Admission to the MA in ABC Program
The formal admission requirements are similar to those of the General MA Program. Please note: when reviewing admission requirements, generally a minimum of 12 undergraduate credits in psychology, including one course in statistics and one laboratory course in experimental psychology are required; however, students who have a high undergraduate grade point average and high general GRE scores but lack a full psychology background may apply for admission. Such students may be required to take preparatory statistics and experimental courses. Students who do well in the Certificate program may apply to the MA program, GRE scores notwithstanding.
Criteria for Admission to the ABC Certificate Program
You must meet the following admission requirements
in order to be considered for the Certificate program. Students must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Applicants will be ranked according to grade point average, two letters of recommendation, personal statement, as well as course work and experience relevant to animal behavior and conservation. Students must demonstrate research skills, either through relevant work outside of the program or by the successful completion of an independent research or field project.
**Students who only enroll in the advanced certificate program are not eligible for Federal student loans. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for additional information about your financial aid eligibility.
